Music
I listen to all sorts of music. Country being my all time favorite, though I wouldn't turn off the radio to the music of today's pop or rock either. I certainly do enjoy all music, and listen to it constantly.
Movies
I enjoy a long film, Gone With the Wind, Titanic, Lord of the Rings and Star Wars all top the list. Though I must say that the Harry Potter movies have weaned thier way into my heart as well.
Television
I Don't get a lot of time to watch TV, however when I do I watch Law and Order, both SVU and CI, as well as Supernatural, Charmed, and Medium. When it comes to game shows, I love Deal or No Deal and 1 versus 100. I Like Nashville Star and America's Got Talent. And who could live without Days of Our Lives?
Books
I Love to read Historical Romantic fiction, being a history buff. I believe it is one of the reasons I have chosen to write Historical Romance novels.
Heroes
My hero's have been inspirational to me over the years in many different ways. My grandmother Loretta, now gone from us, I believe she would have pushed me with all her heart and soul to do whatever I could to make my dreams come true. The same goes for my grandfather Bud, an awesome man in his own right, he is sorely missed. My father and mother both still living, encourage me to follow my dreams and live the life I wish to live.

Excerpt from Chapter One of Night's Salvation -
"" Sleep came easily, but it was fitful. An illusive woman haunted his dreams; an ephemeral, glowing beauty always just beyond his reach or recognition. She turned and reached out her hands, a complete sense of well being overwhelmed him. He stretched forth his arms. Almost there, and he would know who she was-- as abruptly as she had come, she was gone.
Night bolted upright in the bed, sweat beading his brow. Breathing heavily, he grasped at the last fissures of the dream but could find no clarity. The grandfather clock in the hall below chimed five in the morn. Night swung his legs over the edge of the bed, strode to the window and threw it open. A gentle breeze from the west whispered across his nude body, and tangled his hair around his shoulders. Looking out at the beautiful yellow and orange hues of the rising sun, he drew a deep breath and leaned on the sill. Who is she, and what happens that she beckons me come to her?""
If you want more of this story, you wil have to read the book. Ravenwood: Night's Salvation came out August 16th, from LSP Digital. You can Order the print version of the book online through my author website, www.freewebs.com/lauriesorensen. I don't have many copies left of the book, and this is the only way to get a copy of it in print now. I have a new publisher in Sapphire Blue Publishing. Ravenwood: Night's Salvation will be re-released by them shortly in an E-book version. Once the edits are done, and the book has a release date, I will blog about it.
