| General | Like I stated before, I like anime. I have a huge collection of it at home. As well as manga. And video games. I have all the major systems and most of the recent and great games for them. Football and wrestling are my sports of choice. I love football because I can hurt people and not get in trouble for it. Yes I am a little bit of an ass. And yes, I know, pro-wrestling is just sports entertainment ... and yes I know that it is fake, but the hell with it, I like it and if you can not wrap your mind around that, then you are not worth my time. I do not criticize what you like. Oh yes, I also have a thing for watching the History Channel. I love all those reality and educational shows. So I guess you could say that I like the Discovery and NG channels also. Oh yes, and I like comic books. | | Music | I like all kinds of music, but rock is my favorite. But I like all kinds really. Enya, Dido, Metallica, Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre, Linkin Park, Enigma, The Rocketz. Yeah, I can listen to it all. Spanish. Opera. Psychobilly. ... You get the picture. | | Movies | I prefer fantasy and science fiction movies. But I also like drama and action movies too. And some comedy. Romance movie I can only watch with the right person. And I love Disney movies. Guess I am not as grown up as I thought myself to be. But then again, who is? I am sure none of you reading this is. | | Television | Well, I like watching sports. All sports. And I like channels like Discovery, History, and National Geographic. And I am a news junkie. And anytime I see anime or wrestling on, that is where the channel surfing ends. | | Books | I like the Harry Potter series. The Da Vinci Code. But my new all time favorite book is American Gods by Neil Gaiman. Other than that, I read a lot of magazines like Time and Newsweek, but also Stuff, Maxim, and FHM. I would also say comics, but I have all ready mentioned that before. | | Heroes | My heroes are my parents. For even though they are divorced, they have remained civil with each other, that it gave me and my sister a sense of normalcy. My grandparents, for showing me how to be a man. And my Jr. High councilor, Mrs. Nancy Kishiyama (R.I.P.), for having faith in the troublesome boy and showing him that he can graduate with a 3.7 GPA despite getting into fights almost every week at school. |

About me:
About me huh? Okay, well, my name is Richard, but most people who know me just call me Ricky. I am 29 years old and I am hispanic, if you will. I have been married to Desiree for 2 years now and we have two beautiful children. Our daughter Liliana and our son Alexander.
My family, aside from my wife and kids, also consist of my mother, Lupe and step-father, Oscar ... and my father, Hector and his girlfriend, Mona. I also have one sister, Melina. I have soem wonderful in-laws which also provides me the fun of having 2 more sisters and 3 brothers by marriage. How fun.
I do not have many friends in life, and those that I do have mean as much to me as my own family does. Brian, more of a brother than a friend. His girlfriend Leslie. Oh, and they just had a baby too. Alexander as well. So that is fun. Connie and Devin. They both are a hoot. Korey and Jorian. If you met those two, you would know. And of course, Dolly. My unofficial little sister.
About my life other than family, I have an AA in Theater. I worked at Disneyland for almost 5 years, but now have been working with the LAPD for almost 7 years now. Weird career choices considering my degree huh? Anyway, I enjoy watching wrestling and football. I love reading anything really. Books, magazines, comics, graphic novels. Oh, and I love anime. And video games.
I also consider myself a humanist. And for those of you who don't know, Humanism is a broad category of active ethical philosophies that affirm the dignity and worth of all people, based on the ability to determine right and wrong by appeal to universal human qualities ... particularly rationality, common history, experience, and belief.
Also I do not believe in a god. But it doesn't mean I don't believe in something greater than us. And if you are too simple to understand what I mean by that, I feel sorry for you.
I do have one rule here, though. If you are the kind of person who loves to forward every fucking chain letter they get, do not even think of adding me. I don't mind the quiz and test stuff. That's cool. But those chain letters of good and bad luck. Hell no.

Who I'd like to meet:
Well, people with similar interest really. People that I can hang out with and just talk for hours with. I like meeting all kinds of people. I do not have many friends, and that is by choice. I am somewhat of an elitist, so meeting and keeping people close to me is somewhat difficult. However, those who I do choose to keep by my side are probably the most special people in the world. And I will always be there for them. I will do whatever it takes for them, no matter the cost. As for being an elitist ... I make no apologies for that. It is who I am.
