NightShade, coming from Brest, France, was formed in 2007. Brought to life by Bastien, guitar player. After several line-up changes, with the addition of Sebastien, vocals, Gerald, guitar player, Christophe, bass player and Sylvain on the drums, NightShade was finally ready to rock and released their first LP ' The Beginning of Eradication ', on Rising Records, in 2008. This first LP has received a good response from worldwide medias : " What french metallers NightShade have done here is add a pinch of modernity to the Death Metal template (...) This album should be enough to set them head and shoulders above the maddening crowd ", Terrorizer, UK. " NightShade overwhelming verve devastates as much as their english fellows " Rock One, France.
NightShade has quickly made quite a reputation as a very solid live act. Focusing on giving extremely tight and intense shows to conquer the heart of new audiences that would cross their path, increasing constantly their already consistent fan base. NightShade has shared the stage with bands such as Misery Signals (USA), Dagoba (FR), All As We Fight (DN), Your Demise (UK), Tesseract (UK), Textures (NL), The Number 12 Looks Like You (USA), Benighted (FR), One Way Mirror (FR)...
Professionnally wise, NightShade succeeded in inking partnerships with worldwide known brands : Washburn Guitars, N.O.S Amps, Skullstrings, In tunes guitar picks, Monster Energy, New Era, and Ed Stone Clothing.
Last but not least, NightShade will record their second LP with Fredrik Nostrom at Studio Fredman, Sweden from April 25th to the 16th of May 2010.
