And then there was nothing. But from this nothing shown a beacon. A lantern of light that carressed the night and coerced it to leave. But the nothing did not leave. And there came a group of warriors to destroy the nothing. But the nothing would not leave. A band of musicians came. They filled the nothing with music. They were... the Nights of the Sound Table.
What really happened...
It all happened when Bitty M decided it was time for change. He had a successful solo carreer under the name of DJ Tedward, but it was time to move on. He dyed his hair blond...er, and pulled a Diddy, changing his name from Bitty M to Bitty Em. Madden, a friend of Bitty's, noticed the new look and engaged Bitty in a mad rap battle that leveled the state of Cool to just plain whack. They figured if they could harness the power of their mad battlin' skillz then they could totally start "pwning teh n00bxorz." They called on their companions to join in their crusade to make music for people's ears. A friend of the group and witnesseer to the battle, M2 (pronounced M Square) instantly joined the group.
Bitty Em, Madden, and M2 wandered the world in search of new members to add to their high-end low-ground hip-hop musical masterpeice. From the North came Nalden, a master Beat Boxer... no a Beat Box-omen of hope for mankind. Then came the m4st3r of DJs, DJ Midnite. With more sampling skillz than a starving man at a free buffet DJ Midnite would help bring about the change to your feet. From nothing to dancing in only five seconds. He would help supply the Leet 8347.
With such a diverse group, and a diverse set of schedules that made getting together to record a near impossibilty, there was only one thing the group could do. They set out to record both solo and group collaberations. They would also work with other collaberators to help diversify themselves. While most songs would stay firm with the tree of hip-hop roots, many of their songs would be genre clashing titans featuring any style.
Later Madden pointed out to Bitty Em how this all started because of Bitty dying his hair. All Bitty Em had to say about it was "The hair thing was so sudden and compulsive...amazing that it's led to this."
The Archive
The Nights of the Sound Table work with so much music that it became a burden to leave it all lying around. So The Archive was formed. It's an extensive library featuring all of the maddest tracks that even a horse wouldn't race on. The list includes...

Band Member Bios
Bitty Em
As a child in an ancient Mayan Village, Bitty Em was mistaken for a person that was really famous and was kidnapped by Worlock Dinasaurians (the underground race of Dinasaur people that are at a constant war with the Dragonasaurians [the underground race of Dragon-Dinosaur-people that are at a constant war with the Dinasaurians]). Upon the Dinasaurians return to their "surface world" (which is under the surface of the earth, they just call it the surface world to feel special), they discovered the Bitty Em was not the famous person that they thought he was, but was actually their Leader as foretold by their "prophets". Bitty Em lived the next 1021 years of his life glamorously as their King, Emperor, Dictator, and President (in that order). Every few years he would drink from the Fountain of Youth, which the Dinasaurians had founded, invented, and discovered (in that order). Yet one day, in early 1988, the Dragonasaurians secretly infiltrated the home of the Dinasaurians and gave the Bitty Em an extra ammount of the Youth Juice (now named Youth Juice X-Treme so to be more popular with teenagers). They kidnapped the now infant Bitty Em, and brought him to the Outer Surface World and replced him with a child of a normal American Family. Without their President, the Dinosaurians were easily defeated by the Dragonasaurians thus ending the Million Years War, which actually lasted a shade under a million years at only 2,032 years. Bitty Em, who remembered clearly the events of his former life, waited out his time until he could get his revenge. He travelled the world battling his way to become stronger and better. Battleing here really means rap battleing because real fighting is illegal just about everywhere.
M2
M2 grew up in a normal neighborhood in a normal city in a normal country that was actually The United States of America, which isn't all that normal. Nothing extraordinarily happened to him until he was twelve, at which time his brain was replaced with the brain of a robot. A group of people that aren't important got his real brain put back in his body, which made M2 really mad. He liked having a robot body that gave him special powers. His first instinct was to incinerate the group with fire from his hands, but he longer could shoot fire from his hands, or anything else from his hands. He could still shoot stuff out of some his normal "human orifices", like spit at them, but he was too angry to do this. His anger grew so much that he actually split into two people, both of them very angry. When this happened the people that went and saved Matt instantly were turned into plants or rabbits because that is how angry everyone was. The rabbits went and ate the plants, but the plants were poisonous, so they all died.
M2 looked at himself, which you would usually do in a mirror but M2 didn't have to becuase he had a perfect clone of himslef right in front of him. They started fighting for no reason. Later, M2 would try to come up with a good reason for this fight but he really couldn't because the fight was just about anger. The fight eventually got M2 to be calmed down a little more and both M2s were fused together back into one person. M2 felt completely the same except now he was as himself times himself. He tried his best to live a normal life after that, but that didn't stop him from witnessing the greatest Rap Battle ever. Because of the splitting event M2 rarely gets angry any more.
Madden
Madden had a normal life until he discovered a gem that could send it's holder to other dimensions. He had found no use for this item until everything that he had was lost in a tragic fire; his family, friends, and possessions lost to fire at a huge party. He was left with nothing except for the gem. He vowed to use it and travel to a dimension where he had lost nothing. After travelling to several other dimensions, Madden finally found one where he had lost nothing and had everything, yet by this time Madden had made a name for himself with the Police of Interdimmensional Policing and was quickly captured. He was sent to a dimension where he had started his journey. The gem was taken from him and Madden travelled the world looking for a way to leave the world that he got stuck in.
Nalden
Nalden was born inside a computer. His parents, two of the world's greatest villains, had built a house that was just one big computer. Nalden grew up here, learning to beat box from trying to mimic the sounds that his house made. He became a pro at this, and was soon able to converse with the house's robotic maids. Eventually, he would marry one of these robots and turn it into a human using SCIENCE. He was five at the time, as was the robot. Of course, the robot had the mind of a robot and the body of a fiiiiiiiine twently year old female. Eventually the Hu-bot-man grew tired of imitating the computer household, the only thing that Nalden was interested in at the time, and decided to collect the bounty on Nalden's parents. It was late one night when Nalden heard the cries of his parents. He rushed to their room only to find nothing but a note. It read "hahaha I have so, like, totally turned your parents into a, like, this piece of paper using a, like, ray gun haha lol." Although there was no name, Nalden knew who wrote it by the scent on it, which was something other than computer, the only thing smelling like this being the Hu-bot-man. Nalden swore he would get his revenge by dropping an F-bomb. He spent the next eleven years trying to find the hu-bot-man, but he had no luck. He found that computers could actually talk and that if they were linked to the internet that they knew a lot about just about everything. It was one day while trying to find out the whereabouts of the hu-bot-man that Nalden was founded, and joined, the Nights.
DJ Midnite
DJ Midnite got his start in the music industry in early 1864, where he invented the first time machine that was also a kazoo. He left to go to the future and went to 3212, when the second time machine is built by him because his first one broke. Being bored with the future and it's exotic women that loved him because he was the only man left alive after winning the fierce DJ Midnite VS. Everyone Other Dude War of 3214 (which lasted twelve days, in which DJ Midnite was shortly turned into a bat-person but then later turned back), DJ Midnite travelled to the year 2005 and replaced his clone that he had sent to the year 1988, so that when he went he would be the same age as it. Here, his time machine broke again. Upon trying to build a new time machine Midnite was visited by the Future Police of the Future*, who forced him to not build a time machine and be left stranded in this year. In his sorrows, he travelled the country going from club to club, living only on the wages he made as a disk jockey.
*oddly enough, Midnite's last order before the leaving the future (year 3214) was to form the Future Police of the Future.
