Founded in Seattle WA. 1998 DeBartoli's Nightwing is the extension of The L.A. based Nightwing. The L.A. Nightwing moved o Seattle and played many 2nd bill shows for G.E.C. entertainment, the band had member changes and eventually ground to a halt, and was inactive for a number of years.
Time went by and in the late 90's Paul teamed up with Dee DeBartoli. Some of McCarrolls friends suggested a studio in Orlando FL. Deep Purple had just added a bunch of new equipment to the existing system, and the price was great. They moved down, bought a block of time, and Thunderzone was done in a matter of days and even tho they wanted to spend a little more time in post production,They heard Yngwie used Criteria in Miami FL. They went down and found Keith Rose (Yngwie Malmsteen's engineer), he did a brillant job on post production, money was tight, and Keith did as much as he could.
They fiqured we could always remaster if the CD did well. Nightwing was uploaded on MP3. The reviews that followed say it all "internet band gems" "best female vocalist I've heard since Heart" check www.nightstarmusic.com for reviews or www.artistdirect.com The downloads actually stopped the computer one day at MP3.
This got the attention of Touchtunes an International download company that downloads thru Jukeboxes, they chose 5 Nightwing songs and have kept them on to this day. Hammond Organ endorsed Paul as thier 19th Person to be endorsed by the company, St Louis Music followed and so on.
The second CD is on it's way,look for many talented players and, DON'T MISS the LIVE !! show when they come to your town, they are very creative. High Level Energy !!! all the way.
