Nihilist + Militia = Nihilitia

Nihilitia is a three-piece from Washington, DC that formed in 2006. The band has a hankering for trash heaps, rhinestones, Dio, emergency candy runs, Powers, Jameson, pirate folklore, and "that's what she/ he said" jokes. The self-described "stonerglam" sound is a result of the Nihilitia's venn diagram of influences. It's kind of like classic rock from the future . . . except not really.

Nihilitia has shared the stage with: the Sword, Stinking Lizaveta, Skeletonwitch, Early Man, Red Fang, Year Long Disaster, Hero Destroyed (Relapse), King Giant, Peelander-Z, Olympia, and more.

Nihilitia's 7-song album, "Nihilist Militia," is out now on Keya Records. It is available at shows and online through iTunes, Amazon, eMusic, LaLa, and Shockhound.
