I did not know even two chords to play, but I was making songs. Jealousy made me take up guitar playing. Vanity made me start up my own band. Jealousy and vanity are still present, so is the band. We have been around for 12 years. Laza was suspicious in the beginning, keeping to himself and standing aside. Ljuka and Srećko were curious enough, so the band came out of it. We did not know how to play the instruments, but we were burning with desire while meddling with our instruments. We were discovering seduction of soul mating and glory of experiencing those special moments, feeling like eternity. I was nearly fainting while screaming into the microphone. I was carrying Sonic Youth in my guts, Pixies in my head, Keziah Jones in my chest. Blues Explosion, Beasty Boys, Last Poets, P.J. Harvey were hanging around also.... Srećko was heating and cooling my temper repeatedly with Bob Marley and Peter Tosh to bring my spirit to correct hardness. Ljuka was sobering me up with Meteors and Stray Cats. We were imagining having first morning coffee with the band Vještice in Brazil. We were joy-riding about the City and out of the City with the EKV and the Haustor. We were plowing the concrete with Koja. We were swearing, fighting, brawling and brain-storming with Džoni. We recorded one long-playing music album in 1998. Performing live at KST Club. We had enough energy for 20 bands; we were just missing music. Laza has joined us later on. It seems we managed to pierce his analytical and defensive aura. Our fingers have acquired some skill and our self-confidence has grown. Few semi-successful gigs have happened then. Božidarac, Club SKC, Club Fili. Year of 1999. Air strikes bombarded our band, too. And racked my vanity and self-deceptions to pieces. We recovered afterwards, but somehow down the road , we lost Srećko. Or we got lost. But we were discovered by our fairy Jelena with her acoustic mantra. In 2005, Laza, Ljuka, Jela and I were recording demo CD, titled "Shield, coming out, gift for everybody". Very soon, Ljuka went to Subotica, seeking job in construction building (pains of making a living in construction!!!). Mana takes over steering wheel of the rhythm. With the assistance of Laza, he remains there as the drummer. Later on, Stojke jumped in. He brought his talent, voice and theatrical spirit. Live performances follow: Zagreb, Club SKC, Club Akademija, TV Metropolis, TV MTS... In February 2008, we made the alliance with V&V (Vlada & Vlada) and started to record the material at the 'Spider' Studio, which is undergoing sound mixing at the moment. Dish is in the oven and soon will be baked. We sincerely believe it has enough of "know what I mean" energy and music. See you "one on one".
