Nike has a simple mission. Get kids moving and give them the means to do it. The Nike 5K for Kids is dedicated to youth physical fitness: 100% of entry fees will be donated to local school Physical Education, play, and athletic program of your choice!

The Nike 5K for Kids has raised over $1 million for schools across the country!
Who I'd like to meet: All entrants may choose between a certified 5K (3.1 miles) or 1 mile distance. Both events are open to runners and walkers of ALL ability levels!
I just want to thank Nike for holding this event. What a great way to promote the healthy lifestyle that we want to live and the added bonus of 100% of the registration going to her school. My daughter and I walked it last year. It was her 1st 5K and my 2nd. We loved it and we're looking forward to it this year!
