Nike Jemiyo is a singer-songwriter who trained as a pianist since the age of 7. Nike began song-writing before the age of 13, then, studying at The Centre for Young Musicians, where she attended piano and musicianship classes. During her time at the Institute she performed at St John's Smiths Square, The Young Vic and The Broadway Theatre to name a few. Nike has now begun her independent journey as an artist working on material that speaks about her experiences growing up as a young woman in London addressing issues that every girl can relate to - identity, integrity and love. 2009 saw her debut post on Youtube where her videos have gained views at a phenominal rate - the comments speak for themselves... .... .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. ........ Nike's soulful sound encaptures audiences. Her lyrics are both thought-provoking and identifiable while her music defies the laws of conventional soul implementing elements of rock and rnb.
