About me: Hi NT20 Brentwood Runner!
Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, the Nike Top 20 program will be discontinued effective this August 12th. We were extremely excited to bring this program to local running communities throughout the Los Angeles area for the past 5 months. Nike Running remains dedicated to meeting the needs of LA runners. We look forward to bringing back this unique grassroots program again possibly in the near future. In the meantime, we are looking forward to offering other exciting events throughout the summer including the return of the 5th annual Nike Run Hit Remix on September 15 bringing together the best of music and running. In addition there are our long standing Niketown runs in Beverly Hills. Please join us at these events or find more information about ways to participate at NikeRunning.com.
We've really enjoyed running and getting to know you over the past few
weeks/months. We've seen you come a long way, and it's been very
rewarding to have been part of that process. Thank you for coming back and entrusting us to come up with something enjoyable and fun each week.

Hello Runners, Friends and those who want to start running!
We (Kate & Kelley) are so excited to lead the Second Phase of the Brentwood Nike Top 20 site. Our mission is to create a fun community of healthy like-minded runners. We will set your week off right with a Monday morning run, great company, coffee and a snack for the road.
Our location is the Brentwood Country Club!
We will meet at:
The Northwest Corner of MONTANA AVE. & GRETNA GREEN
We will start running at:
6:45a on the following Monday mornings:
6/4, 7/9, 8/6, 9/10
PLEASE arrive at 6:30a to warm-up. : )
We've posted links to our running routes in our blog section. We will always have course maps available at the run site. Our routes run mainly around the beautiful Brentwood Country Club. We've got a couple of small, fun hills. There are some dirt paths, road and grass stretches to run along.

What is Nike Top 20?:
Nike Top 20 is a campaign created to return to the basics of running. This new approach will focus on local communities throughout the Los Angeles area and the different types of running destinations (beaches, roads, trails, parks and tracks). Nike will take a grassroots and organic approach to meeting the needs of the community. Nike will seek to connect with runners on a personal level in their running environment. The idea behind the Nike Top 20 will be to create a friendly and long-term relationship with runners.

Registration for the First Annual Nike Top 20 Temescal Scramble closes TODAY! Race TOMORROW, Saturday April 14 at 8am. Register now by visiting www.myspace.com/niketop20temescal and emailing us!
Temescal is excited to present the first ever Nike Top 20 race. This isn't just any kind of race – it's an adventure race. Filled with scenic landmarks, time bonuses/penalties, brain teasers, and physical challenges, we will test your strategy as much as your speed. All participants are encouraged to familiarize themselves with the info on http://www.myspace.com/niketop20temescal, especially basic info about trail running and what to bring.
Race is limited to 20 participants on a first-come, first-serve basis so hurry up and register!

Here we go! The Week 3 Westridge/Sullivan (Canyon) TRAIL run is tomorrow morning!!! Be there at 6:30am, we'll start the run about 10-15 minutes later after ALL who have RSVP'd who show up before 6:45am arrive. Get there EARLY and don't forget to RSVP! Also, check out the video and photos from WEEK 2 below in our new blog... but RSVP first!!!
Had a RAD time running in the rain with you in Brentwood yesterday! I also had a RAD time running with some of you in Hermosa Beach later in yesterday evening!
It was a RAD day all around.
