About me:
Welcome runners to Phase 2 of the Nike Top 20 UCLA PM program with Brian and Anita.
Anita and I would love to thank all of the runners that attended our first phase, 13 week program.
We did not just run, we improved, and hopefully rekindled that core love of running that will improve your qaulity life!
Nike Top 20 is more than just running, it's about building and improving the running community and in Phase 2 we will continue to pursue initiatives that not only develop our running but the places where we run.
Phase 2's 12 week program has evolved to see us meeting the first Wednesday of every month at 6:30 pm by the iconic Bruin Bear.
You will be given a program for the remainder of the month to both scaffold our session and encourage you to hone your fitness for the next session.
Wednesday the 1st of August will see us doing a track workout at Drake stadium on UCLA campus.
August's theme is speed and the "Speed Program" featured in the blog above gives you program and some pointers to follow for the next 4 weeks
We will see you Auguts 1st, 6:30pm sharp at the Bear.

Who I'd like to meet:
Scholars of running. Based at one of the finest universities in the world, the UCLA PM group encourages runners to both master the fundamentals of training as well as stretch the boudaries of individual performance. We seek athletes* of all abilities interested in connecting with the people and places of their community through running.
