I am a commercial artist with over 15 years of experience, 7 years of which was spent working full-time in the computer games industry. Prior to that I worked in a design studio, and going back further still I was taking on paid art commissions as young as the age of 14.
I have a number of high-profile published game titles under my belt, including work on the Theme Park series (where I produced concept art as well as building, texturing and animating 3D models). Probably my biggest achievement so far is as the main concept artist/character designer for Microsoft's X-Box game Sudeki.
Since the very humble beginnings of the project, I produced literally hundreds of drawings and CG art pieces through the years of its development, as well as adding my own finishing touches to various pieces of Sudeki marketing art.
Aside from the games industry, I've taken on numerous art commissions over the years and my work has found a variety of outlets, including:
Merchandising, marketing and website art for Japanese rock musicians JO:YA and Duel Jewel
Print designs for a major guitar strap manufacturer
CD covers and T-shirt designs for Anime Radio
CD cover art for "Anime Toonz Vol. 2" CD released by Jellybean Recordings of New York
Art showcased in New York at "Gamers' Nite Groove" event
Various art pieces for sci-fi/anime convention books and promotions
Pantomime and am-dram poster art
On-the-spot caricatures
Art workshops/presentations
Character and mascot design
Commercial identities and logos
Vehicle concept design
Sci-fi and high fantasy artwork
Designs for animatronic displays and theming projects
Anthropomorphic/"furry" art and other cartoon styles
Digital photo re-touching/manipulation
Personal online manga comic project
Small press comic work
Art for print in magazines
Vector art
Pixel art: Animated .gif files, window-sitter mascots and 2D game sprites (mobile phone, Palm PC, Game Boy Advance etc.)
Model-making and doll customisation
Toy design
Fashion designs for print on clothing and accessories
Costume design
Greetings card designs and other commercial 'cute' art
Concepts for web page visuals
Although cartoon, manga and anime style art is among my specialties, it's certainly not all that I am capable of. I'm confident that I am a flexible artist able to work in a wide range of styles and media.
Currently I am freelancing full-time.

Who I'd like to meet: Eccentric intellectuals, artists, musicians and actors/thespians; other fans of any of the stuff I'm into; my heroes; renegade Time Lords...

I'd like to meet so many of my heroes with whom I feel a strong artistic connection. They have all inspired me in some way or another.
Recently I was lucky enough to meet one of my heroes - the actor Paul McGann. It truly was a marvellous experience and although it may have been one of those once-in-a-lifetime opportunities I'd be only too happy to meet him again. He was just so nice! :D
I'd also like to meet Elliot Minor... AGAIN! Recently I caught up with them for the second time... who says you can have too much of a good thing? They are awesome in person too.
I'd also like to meet ZiVA, super pianist and my online buddy of so many years whom I've never yet managed to meet in person. We need to fix that, mate! LOL
Then there's dear long-lost Shunchan... and all these great peeps whose banners I'm proud to pimp!
Fantastic. I'm glad the gig went fantastic for you. I'm sure he would be very, very proud of you. I'll have to read up on that game, then. Definitely a great accomplishment for you.
