MySpace a place for friends

We started recording on an old double decker 4 track writing original music in many different styles, mostly using shitty beats that came with old keyboards or the ones on multi-effects pedals. Definately lo-fi. Our first song ever was called Furry Little Man, about a guy who lives in a tree so he doesnt have to deal with jehovahs witnesses knocking on his door.. In 1997, Niki moved to Texas and since then we only get together once a year to record roughly 50 new songs (in less than a week, sometimes 2 or 3 days). By the year 2000 we had upgraded to a cassette 8 track and used that up until the summer of '04 when we got a digital 18 track and a Guitar Synth. It was around this time that the beats got better from the use of drum loops using real drums. Everything else is still played in real time, straight through, the way people did it in yon olden days before Pro Tools. Looks like we're going to remain a long-distance band so we're now looking into ways to record and collaborate over the internet as well as getting together each year to record
