I'm a MAC trained make-up artist and professional member. I've spent a couple of years in the retail field working first for MAC in Cardiff, then subsequently moving to Bristol to manage the MAC retail counter there. All the while I've been freelancing as a make-up artist, working in both the fashion show and fashion photography fields, and providing bridal make-up services.
I moved into make up to follow my passion, after a degree in Art & Design. This was actually a natural progression, as applying make-up effectively requires a good understanding of colour and the effects of light and shade to enhance, shape and influence our perception.
My strength is the breadth of my experience as a make-up artist in fields ranging from retail to fashion shows and photographic work, and providing mobile, at-home wedding and bridal make-up services, including experience of working with Asian brides. I've learned to quickly adapt to many different types of working situation. This experience is coupled with a friendly, relaxed professionalism that enables me to get on with and work easily with people.
