Singer/Songwriter/ Performer, Nikki Carabello has been an artist since as far back as she can remember. Influenced by the sounds of the classic rock era of the 60’s and 70’s from her father and the genetic vocal gift of her mother, Nikki grew up with music as way of life. When her 4th grade teacher discovered a 30 yr old voice radiating from a 9 yr old child, Nikki’s young career took shape and led to a string of musicals and performances around South Florida. She began listening to and writing a wide variety of music from classic rock, hip hop, pop, and electronic music. In the fall of “99” she released her first underground album “Control” which was added to the “Promo Only” roster as well as live showcases up the East Coast. A chance audition in 2002 landed her the lead singer of an all girl pop/rock band “The Ragdolls” which was managed by Gary Carolla of “Snap”. “The Ragdolls” went on to tour Europe as well as a the release of a self titled album. In the fall of 2005, Nikki partnered and formed an indie label housed under the name DNF Music. Touring all over the country with legendary Dj’s and electronic acts, Nikki made her mark as a staple vocalist in the electronic dance scene while pulling people in with her larger than life stage presence. Her constant need for reinvention and forward thinking attitude has brought forth yet another new project that will be her most personal to date. Fusing together her love of all music, Nikki has been mixing up a diverse blend of dance infused rock with a dash of soulful funk. This is the album she has always wanted to make. Her rules- Her way. The album will reach out to many markets and give listeners a taste for a multi-faceted musical journey. Nikki is working diligently to complete the album so stay tuned in and turned on!!!
