The Truth. Country Music artist Nikki Gardner wants it. Listen to her sing- you’ll hear it. It’s an achingly beautiful voice, that somehow bridges the traditional sounds of Patsy Cline and Faith Hill, with the raspy howl of contemporary rock, Gardner knows what she’s doing. “Its country with an attitude” she smiles. Adding “but it’s me.” Fact is, Gardner’s journey has always been about finding and living that same simple honest truth in her own life. Born in the small town of Spartanburg, South Carolina, Nikki Gardner began singing almost before she could talk. “Music inspires me, it’s my life, and has been since I was a little girl” The youngest child (and only girl) in a strong supportive family, Gardner’s home and parents remain her biggest love. “I have wonderful parents and the best friends in the world” “They believed in me and my dreams” That dream to touch people with her music, and to help heal them, brought her to Nashville, TN. Where she caught the attention of the owner of the legendary country music venue –“Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge” As she continues to hone her craft and win over new believers,-performing three to four times a week there, Gardner’s dream is beginning to come true. The Industry has begun taking notice, and a new CD of songs is in the works. “I knew if I followed my heart, eventually folks would take notice”, Gardner smiles, adding “That’s the truth!”
Yes yes,of course. Aah,you should see my hair. It's a WHOLE lot darker than it should've been,haha. It was supposed to be dark brown,but it was black. It's SLOWLY lightening up though.

Okay, so I'm backstage sittin at this gay club in NC when I kinda wish I was watching all those Christmas movies you promised me. I'll be there in the morning and take you to church. PROMISE!
