About me: Well.... let's see, since people can never tell my nationality... I am half black and half white (my daddy is black), and my parents have been married over thirty years! I listen to jazz, blues, R&B, soul, gospel, HIP HOP and some old school. I love history specifically the civil rights movement (my hero is Malcolm X), I am a family person and love being a mom. My daughter KEZIAH (which is taken from the book of Job in the bible), and my son DEON are my whole reasons for living, I love them MOST of all! I love music and outdoors, traveling and seeing new and different things all the time. I like long drives where you can just reflect on your own life with no interruptions, I love dancing, poetry, reading and anything that stimulates the mind and builds you as a person. Knowledge is key! I love to laugh even if it is at myself (which majority of the time it is!) I think truly loving is one of the most important and necessary things you can do in life after all God is Love right? But if you going to do it, do it right and with everything you have. I am very passionate, empathetic and emotional which is not always a good thing! I tend to be spontaneous and I am probably the worst procrastinator you'll ever meet at the same time! I believe God intended for all of us to have a specific purpose in life, even though we may not realize what it is until after we have already completed it. What I can't stand is ignorance, and to be lied to. I love my friends, although they may not know that cause I don’t tell them enough. I think the falls you take in life help make you who you are today, and you have to learn how to take the good with the bad. I try to remember to count my blessings each and everyday cause no matter what bad thing happens in my life, someone else always has it worse. I charish rocking my children to sleep everynight and I also try to remember what my dad tells me, “If there is no enemy within, the enemy without can do you no harm.” :)
