I will always love John Mayer and his bluesy self.......Love blues...(that would be my Daddy's influence-right Lori and Holly? remember the days of Dad crankin' it and drivin' mom MAD!??? lol)I love all kinds of music....I feel like its an artistic expression of oneself.....Hard to really judge music because of this.....I guess I gravitate to classic rock and blues....but I love all genres............ In addition to the above, I gravitate to "underground artists and groups". Like Kevin Steinman (although it won't be long before he's famous)-so, check him out too. He has the MOST beautiful voice.. Tragically Hip (someone gave me their CD and I've been hooked ever since! great, great band!) Other favorites include: DAVID GRAY (my new FAV!), John Hiatt, Elton John, Billie Holiday, Buddy Guy, Bo Diddley, Patsy Cline, Louis Armstrong, NK Cole, Tony Bennett, Neil Diamond, Sinatra, Julie Andrews, Glen Miller Band, Led Zeppelin, Journey, the Eagles, Coltrane, ACDC, STYX, Enya, Sade, Bob Marley, Allman Brothers, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Marvin Gaye, Nine Inch Nails, Jack Johnson, Pink Floyd, U2,Steely Dan, Pearl Jam, Crosby Stills Nash & Young, Madonna,Gwen Stefani, Sade, AC/DC, Josh Kelly, Dave Mathews Band, Just Off Turner, Jordin Sparks, Alicia Keys, Norah Jones..... Mom of 3, business owner and artist. Love my job.... live in Michigan-love the snow for skiing and the summers for camping & boating.......love anything outdoors.....love traveling to different countries and hope to travel to more in the near future.... Born and raised on music, art and football..mostly influenced by my Dad (sure miss you Dad!)........countless memories of my Dad bringing home a new tape (yes, tapes-lol)or even a record......saying, "Nik, you gotta listen to THIS- THIS is music-not your "bubble gum pop stuff"-lol." So, ultimately, my tastes seem to gravitate to his. Even more now...BB King (Thrill is Gone-especially), Billie Holiday, Louis Armstrong... Lots of Blues and Classic Rock....My Dad loved to play the music LOUD and I don't know how many times the neighbors complained. But he connected with music.....I see this even more in myself now... Yeah I don't know how I would go handling the fridged cold you get at this time of the year. It would be fun to say I've experienced it. Great to hear you got some work, that is awesome! You get to do what you love and that tops it off. Good for you. I got Kristine a new Skype phone for her birthday so we will have to give a call and catch up.

Everything is going well for me.
You should know how it feels to leave an oppressive relationship.
I feel great! I am pretty much stress free now.
She sucked the fun and joy out of life! And I like fun and joy!!!
I'm happy... At the same time, a little lonely. Especially with the holidays upon us now. It wouldn't hurt to have someone to love and care about.
But that will take care of itself in time too.

Good to hear you're doing well. Kristine's good. Working flatout. Me too We only get to talk a couple times a week on Skype. But at least the money can go to helping Kristine move down here. Down here it's been fooking hot! Must be Christmas! I'm guessing you've been getting some good snow falls?
