Nikko is a Singer/Songwriter whose halting vocals represent an amazing mix of skill, desire, and gift. Nikko was poised from the onset to take his place among musics legends and the forefathers of Soul.
Nikko began to display his immense gift for family and friends while regaling them with spot on performances of songs by Michael Jackson,
The Boys and ABC. His gift was anointed and his blessings confirmed through his participation in the youth choir of the First Baptist Church of Chesterfield, MO. Throughout his youth Nikko piled his desire by studying the whole of his craft. He pursued all avenues through which he could learn more about his art. Music, theatre and dance became a way of life or Nikko early on. His passion for the performing arts culminated with the forming of the group Team 11 at the age of 13. It was during his tenure with Team 11 that Nikko really began to shape his artistic persona.
Team 11 disbanded unexpectedly, however, leaving Nikko really free to continue his ascension solo.
A son of the original purveyors of Soul, Nikko credits his aural tutelage to artists such as Marvin, Stevie, Sam Cooke, The Temps, Jodeci and R. among many others. Nikko was poised from the onset to take his place among the legends of Soul. His eclectic musical taste has given him the command and range to segue all genres with an ease generally attributed to the music industrys most revered veterans.
Nikko; the voice whose time has arrived! He promises not to leave music lovers in America and abroad idol.
