30 years old from Värnamo, Sweden.
Been working with two new singles. The first album was released in 2000 and it included ten songs that I wrote when I was lying down in my bed from an accident. The actors on that one was Mattias Gränsmark, Peter Lundstedt, Johan Lundgren, Veronica Skogelin and Pauline Eriksson. It was a great time but it was a very weird time. A lot of feelings where in the room. Strange things happened, but I liked the way it went.
Three years later I decided to make a new album. Ten songs was recorded but only nine went to the album. It was called Restless. I think we all feel very restless now and then. It´s always a great pleasure to record things live. We did that with those songs. The most of them are first takes. The drummer kicked it of and we just fell into the groove that appeared. We called our self The Broken Dreams and we where a band with five members. Mattias Liljeqvist, Mattias Gränsmark, Carl Ekerstam, Johan Hultgren and my self.
I´ve always wanted to make an acoustic album. And suddenly that special feeling faced me. I wrote twelve songs in about two weeks. It was a project. It was letters. Feelings. Thoughts. Memories. I like them a lot. They are like flowers in a garden. You give them water and the will start to grow. Flowers in windows made of papers are another great pleasure. I really enjoy it. You don´t have to feed them with water. Just your own love. They laugh at you. You laugh at them. Really nice. It´s sort of a game between the plastic flowers and yourself. I´ll never forget them. Took the songs to a friend and cut them down. Note the word cut. Together with Mattias Strömberg on bass and myself on a D-28. We did these takes as fast as we could. After that I put on some piano and strings and it was done.
Right now we´re working on this two singles with producer Andreas Berg. The sound is beautiful and it´s playing tricks with my mind. Carl Ekerstams guitar feels like a big rocket that will never be landed. Fantastic. Niklas Hegfalk on bass taking us far away from all the stars and drives us right in the middle of the earth with his big notes. The captain on this boat must be Kristian Kveldstad with his drums. A great groove that blows your mind out. I did some guitars and vocals.

Har gått och blivit smålänning jag också, pluggar till sjökapten i Kalmar. Känns helt rätt. Men bandet är ju kvar i Stockholm, så jag får nog börja knåpa ihop lite digitala grejer vad det lider. Hur är det med dig? /T
Tack själv Niklas för vänskapen. Har lyssnat här givetvis och du känns. Mycket direkt och inifrån och ut som om det måste ut snabbt och en del frustration som kommer igenom. Ja, det är så jag känner det, skitbra med andra ord, oavsett om det är nu så just du kände, så förmedlar du helt klart. /Pär
