Milan Mihajlovic, Krzysztof Penderecki, Gyorgy Ligeti, Olivier Messiaen, Toru Takemitsu, Alexandar Scriabin, Claude Debussy, Gustav Mahler, and many other, including great and celebrated masters of old whose legacy is an eternal inspiration for every musician alive.

yet a third case: one must be both - a philosopher.
My name is Nikola Pacek-Vetnic, I am 24 years old and currently
residing in Novi Sad, Serbia. I am a student of composition at the Novi
Sad Academy of Arts, in the class of professor Milan Mihajlovic, and I
have also had classes with Aleksandra Vrebalov, Edward Ficklin and
Michael Rose. In the year 2008. I have won the first two prizes at the
National Serbian contest for percussion music composition, with Nebojsa
Zivkovic, Srdjan Hofman, and Slavko Suklar as the jury members, with Nordlicht, for marimba solo, and Suite 2, for the set of
drums and south American percussion. Besides piano, which is
mandatory, and an instrument I am not very good at, I also play drums
and am familiar with a few other instruments as well.
Besides working as an art music composer, I am also engaged in various
other activities: I am the leader, composer and a drummer in an art
metal band, Prometheus, and symphonic metal band Svarun,
and also working as a writer, composer and a drawing artist in game
development team Apeiron Studios.
My purpose in life is to seek the ultimate truth, the one I believe is
to be found within the pulsating of the atoms we call music. How close
I am to the fulfillment of that goal you can conclude by listening to the music provided on this page. A comment is welcome, as a sign of acknowledgment or a praise, as well as a critic or a sign of disliking.
After all, the final judge shall be the listener, that is, you.

e pa da, ume akademija da smori nekad...ja sam na predavanja tipa tonski slog vec i prestala da idem...zapravo, od nas desetoro se 1 komad pojavi na tonskom sredom u 8h,pa ti gledaj :D tako da nam profesor nije ni zadao domaci do prosle nedelje, nema kome :D na vezbama iz dorogovanja u ovom semestru jos nisam bila...bio bi red da sutra odem, ali stvarno...njah, ionako vise vina popijem nego sto sati provedem na akademiji, tako da studije nekad i nisu lose :] kod mene nista posebno..srecna sam, sto se akad.tice, sto imamo izborne predmete, uvod u snimanje zvuka, muzika u medijima, i jos sam ja uzela istoriju umetnosti :) bas je divno :] s vremena na vreme prosvrljam i po ateljeJima gde su likovnjaci, i ucim pomalo, zanimljivo mi je to...pocela sam da lakiram nokte u crno, znas kako mi ne stoji xD al nema veze, bljek mjetaaaaaaal!!! :D eto, prsla i ja konacno :D

Ijao, Dream Theater, to je nesto sto ne mogu da prestanem da slusam u poslednjih... paaaa... 6 meseci otprilike =) Neka neka, samo ti radi, isplati se to =) Meni je zapravo drago da nisam na kompoziciji, jednostavno se nisam pronasla u tome, i jbg... Shvatila sam na vreme, ako nista drugo =)
