Nil By Mouth is a brand new industrial rock band from Paris, France.
Created by the middle of 2007, band-founder Cédric Le Men - on vocals, guitars, bass, keyboards & programming - immediately begins composing, with the precious help of keyboarder & programmer Yann Moine, which leads to two first tracks :
Apart and
Erin's Awake.
The band's influences are quite large indeed, although admitedly, artists such as
Nine Inch Nails,
Faith No More (and at some point,
Mike Patton's whole work) or
Peter Gabriel pay a great deal of influence in the band's work. But more than anything else, Cédric Le Men - who composes most of the songs - wants to play a music he would enjoy listening to... and enjoy sharing, of course !
The band is currently searching for a label and prepares it's first demo album,
Songs For The Asking. If everything turns out fine, the album should be released quite soon, hopefully in 2008 !
