NilFisk is no more and have been since the 10th of March 2008. We'll leave this on for your enjoyment though. Have a nice one. --- From two provincial towns on the south coast of Iceland comes the band NilFisk. Formed in 2003 they got their first big break the same year when they were handpicked by Foo Fighters frontman, Dave Grohl, to play one song before they went on stage in Reykjavik. At the end of 2005 NilFisk slipped out a record. “Don..t Run After Your Own Apples” sold great. With the passion for playing live and making a name for themselves, NilFisk performed all over the country almost nonstop for 4 years, and also making three trips to Denmark to perform for a full house and breaking desibel records in Copenhagen. Right now NilFisk is working on writing new material and developing a new style with the fifth member recently added on keyboards and guitar. .......... .. .. .. .. .. ....> ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ NilFisk also appeared in the Icelandic documentary Screaming Masterpiece The movie has been seen all around the world and was directed by Ari Alexander early 2005. Hljómsveitin NilFisk frá Eyrarbakka og Stokkseyri hefur ákveðið að leggja upp laupana. Einsog staðan er núna hefur hún verið óvirk í þónokkurn tíma og hafa meðlimir hennar þess vegna ákveðið að leggja sveitina á hilluna og snúa sér að öðrum meira krefjandi verkefnum. Allt er þetta í hinu mesta bróðerni og félagarnir kveðja klökkir en með bros á vör. Þessi tilkynning er send út á fimm ára afmælisdegi hljómsveitarinnar. 10.
