About Nils Bech

The band Nils Bech are Nils Bech and Bendik Giske. Nils Bech is an integral part of the Norwegian art and music scene, taking part in exhibitions of contemporary art in New York, Zürich, Berlin, London and Oslo, and playing concerts with his own band, Nils Bech. Bech combines sparse acapella versions of contemporary and classical music and well-crafted electronica in a conceptual stage show laced with cabaret and contemporary dance. On stage he is joined by sax player and composer Bendik Giske, an active and acknowledged force within the contemporary jazz scene. Giske is the recipient of several international awards of music. As a performance artist Nils Bech is represented by the gallery Willy Wonka Inc. Formerly a part of the Norwegian Grammy- and Alarm Prize nominated musical Group Snuten (N).
