..
So. Usually i guess you'll find me in CDOASS, but i also do a lot of stuff on my own and tho i'm never really 100% about the songs i think it's about time to share them and see what happens.
I will soon provide links to better mp3-compressions of the songs (anything's better than myspace-compression tho)
"Both Sides"
This one also dates back a couple of years. Just touched it up a bit. Borrowing sounds both from Caterina Valente and Kathy Diamond.
"Song For Klara" A song for a girl i once knew. I did the main parts of the song an evening in december 2006. Moog synthesizer and vocals were added this summer.
"Walk On". Do you know Todd Rundgrens "I Saw The Light"? A wonderful song about falling in love, and foremost noticing that someone has fallen in love with you. I guess this is about what happens when you look at that person and see that things aren't what they used to be, the light in her (or his) eyes isn't there anymore. And you know things will never be the same again. Cheesy.
"Get Nowhere" was finished on the 9th of may. Intended to do much more with it but i stuck to the basics which were done one night a couple of weeks ago. Guitars sampled from one of my brazil faves. Lo-fi disco/summer/cowbells played with a teak salad set in my kitchen/some synthesizers. There you go.
"Song For Stina" is a song i wrote for my (now ex-)girlfriends birthday. Me and a pitchshifted Sylvia Vrethammar sing our praise to her over a sampled beat.
On "Everybody Works So Hard" the verses are built around a sample (oh come on, someone must recognize it?) from one of my fave artists - with a number of overdubs, synthesizers and vocals added. Many instruments trying to sound like few instruments. More is less etc etc. Alot harder and more straight on than the other songs, eller nåt...
I did "f.t.u." a night last summer (2006 that is). Finished in maybe 5-6 hours. I think i was listening alot to The Wake and Durutti Column during that period. I got a very happy feeling when i made it but it sounds kinda sad when i listen to it now. Pretty monotonous with repeating lyrics, sjundedelstakt and distorted bass. I am most satisfied with the piano intro. No samples.

Hejsan Peter Nilsson! Jag tycker du gör jättebra musik och jag har skrivit om dig i min blogg IBLAND TÄNKER JAG PÅ MORD. http://iblandmord.blogspot.com
Cheers champ, continued success and happiness in 2008, an honour having you here, thanks for the support. So then, sweet dreams both when awake and asleep, as ever!
Tack!
