Well, we were together for almost a year before I got pregnant. After I moved back to CC we had issues because he wanted to continue his ed down south, which with a kid is a lot harder to do due to prices being so high down there. We kinda broke up and were "dating" on and off, but I got sick of the "maybe this or that" crap. Plus he's always changing his mind. Shane and I are on the same page on everything so far, and he's the sweetest guy I've ever met. We want our marriage to last. We have stuff pretty much aligned, like our bills, our income, where we'll live, ect. This just isnt' something we're doing on a whim. My family is very supportive and have him over every week. I don't think this is something that isn't going to last.
Thats not true. You can usually tell after 6 months if he's a keeper. And we're getting married in Jan; by that time it would be a year. He's fantastic with Ewan, and, despite not being his biological father, they are extremely close. And everyone in my family loves him, which I think is a great sign.
