You can always tell a conservative from a liberal. One begins a sentence with the words "I think that..." while the other begins a sentence with "I feel that..." It's not all about feelings and emotions; sometimes you've got to be able to think as well.

Blurbs

About me:

Welcome to my space I hope you enjoy my page. I tend to write blogs about what has happened recently at home, school, and work. I also post copies of blogs, websites, and articles I find interesting. I love to read, workout, and chat with nice people. I mostly use facebook and have this blog linked to my account but I still check it from time to time. I am married to a wonderful man named John and have two step children, Amanda and JohnJohn that live with me full time. I also have three dogs and two birds (I do not like the birds but I love the dogs). The birds and two of the dogs belong to my husband; only one dog, the yorkie, belongs to me. I’m currently working on my doctorate degree in educational leadership. Why, I couldn’t tell you maybe just because I can. My job pays for one degree per degree level so why not go as far as I can in school. I may end up the most educated secretary in the country but nobody can say I wasted a good opportunity.

That something happened to you is of no importance to anyone, not even to you. The important thing about you is what you choose to make happen -- your values and choices. That which happened by accident -- what family you were born into, in what country, and where you went to school -- is totally unimportant. --A. Rand

"For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11

Big Government and Big Business ... will try to impose social and cultural uniformity upon adults and their children. To achieve this they will (unless prevented) make use of all the mind-manipulating techniques at their disposal and will not hesitate to reinforce these methods of non-rational persuasion by economic coercion and threats of physical violence. If this kind of tyranny is to be avoided, we must begin without delay to educate ourselves and our children for freedom and self-government. Such an education for freedom should be ... first of all in facts and in values — the facts of individual diversity and genetic uniqueness and the values of freedom, tolerance and mutual charity, which are the ethical corollaries of these facts. ~ Aldous Huxley: (Brave New World Revisited)

Who I'd like to meet:

Everyone and Anyone just because I find everyone interesting and unique.
