About me:

Nina Be started her remarkable fashion career in 1991 at a menswear manufacturing company upon graduating from Toronto’s Academy of Design. In 1995, she opened Shkank, Toronto’s first upscale - now infamous clubwear boutique forming a dedicated Celebrity client base along the way. In 1997, Nina Be developed her menswear line POPSTAR, launching the rock and roll-inspired streetwear label a year later and successfully selling across Canada and internationally. Nina Be soared on to design for various private labels while working on her newest line, Minou, which launched in 2003, selling throughout Canada and the United States. In 2004, Nina Be became the Head Designer of a Missy Line based out of Miami, allowing her to jet set across the USA, Europe and Hong Kong. Nina Be returned to Canada in 2008 immediately diving into yet another exciting project, this time with Designer Molly Grundy, showing the ultra modern womenswear line, ÜND, for [FAT] 2009.
