Do you love the idea of real glamour and decadence that was the hallmark of yesteryear?
Creating spellbinding vintage, retro and postmodern looks is my passion. I've been doing it for the past 15 years, working alongside fashion photographers, film makers and the performers of London's burlesque scene, recreating those looks. I am also a period style consultant for the Young Vic Theatre and have been working on many magazines and fashion shows here and abroad.
I would be delighted to share my skills with people who enjoy the exotic, theatrical and glamourous, or those who just want to have a little fantasy or take a fun journey of true self expression to another era. I work with hair, make up, hats and headwear and can also help with styling, providing clothing and props.Pricelist is available on my website.
In addition, Nina's Hair Parlour is the first UK specialist vitage/retro hair/make up salon.We stock a number of handpicked, rare and original period hats from the 1930's-1960's, extravagant, unique hair accessories and Retro L'Amour snoods, all of which are available for sale and hire.
