"Caramba!" was a Barnes & Noble Discover Great New Writers selection, a Borders Original Voices title, a Southwest Book of the Year, and also made the San Francisco Chronicle's Finest Books of 2004 list. The cover won an American Institute of Graphic Arts award for design as one of the best of the year. I am currently working on my second novel.
I have one dog called Chester, and another named Geronimo (Spanish pronunciation, por favor). I drive a truck called Balthazar. I like Major League Baseball. My favorite player is Vladimir Guerrero whom I consider to be the best example of a five tool player in the big leagues right now. My favorite team is the San Francisco Giants, even though, at the present moment, they suck. But as a wise person once said: P'os ni modo.
