NINE HOPELESS SKIES est un duo samples/batterie formé par Aurélien (samples) et Matthieu (batterie) qui font également partie du groupe FLYINGDEADMAN.
L'idée de créer ce duo est venue d'Aurélien qui souhaitait jouer certaines compositions qui ne collaient pas avec l'univers de FLYINGDEADMAN mais qui s'inscrivaient bien dans un projet à part entière.
Matthieu a donc rejoint NINE HOPELESS SKIES afin d'y apporter son jeu de batterie puissant qui contrebalance à merveille avec les pianos et autres nappes ambiants.
La chanteuse LASKA contribue également au projet en ayant enregistrée des voix sur 2 chansons.D'autres collaborations sont en cours de réalisation avec notamment la chanteuse d'Overland Inn et le chanteur de Obhymon.Affaire à suivre...
NINE HOPELESS SKIES a enregistré fin décembre 8 titres et espère pouvoir sortir son premier album courant 2009.
