Sounds Like
"Nine Ninety Nines are a band that will instantly strike you; they have a familiarity that greets your ear like an old friend, which is a discreet comfort. The sound is something you’ll have heard before I suppose, but you won’t hear it like this; that sort of powerful indie rock where the singers go head to head with the instruments. A musical blitzkrieg that leaves a lasting impression, a crisp and clean sound that reverberates with treble; a strong sound that isn’t without delicacy or poise. They have a good stage presence and can certainly rock with the best of them". XFM

A band formed from Portsmouth, with high ambitions. Already supported the likes of Jamie T, Cajun Dance Party, The Holloways and The Young Knives. A high energy band, that certainly live up to the saying " That a band is only as good as the songs they have ". Live and on record their songs will leave a lasting impression. Marketable and with direction, they are not just another pop band, they define a pop band. The NineNinetyNines are coming................
The Band will be in the studio from August 20th, Working with Producer Guy Gyngell of The Light Effect and formally of Ricky, Engineer Dan Rejmer credited with working with artists such as the Mystery Jets, Golden Silvers, Friendly Fires and Little Comet. And Engineer and Mixer Chris King of Switch Transmission. Keep a look out for 1 off gigs from now until the single release launch of " Put it Politely " in early 2010.
