   About The Jokers
The Jokers formed with the aim of creating a great rock and roll band. The band wanted to create a contemporary sound whilst drawing upon classic influences. **************************************************************************************************** In April 2005 recorded a four track E.P. with producer Ronnie Stone. Nineteenth Century were voted best new rock act 2005 by KERRANG FM. **************************************************************************************************** In July 2005 The Jokers were chosen out of 10,000 artists to have tracks pre loaded onto 1 million LOGIK MP3 players available throughout the U.K. November 2005/2006 the band went on a major tour with U.S. rockers FOZZY. Spent rest of 2006 touring venues all over the U.K. and abroad including BLOODSTOCK ROCK FESTIVAL, ACOUSTIC FESTIVAL OF BRITAIN 2006. 2007 was spent writing and recording their debut album due out late 2007. 2008 major festivals and tours across U.K. and rest of Europe.
