Like Mrs Leeds famous son, ninetwelve's American Zombie is the devil child spawned by horror punk and EBM, bringing a Rock-Roots perspective to goth dance. Thematically exploring the duality of genre horror and the real life grotesque of American Pop Culture American Zombie's track list sways between tribute and satire.
Horror anthem Mother of Darkness, a tribute to genre director Dario Argento, lures dancers with power melody and four to the floor into a flourish of texture and micro edits- keeping them stomping the entire ride.
I Hope You Die is a mantra for the death of an ingenuous iGeneration alienated from interpersonal relationships by the instant gratification of e-culture.
Cumhog's gender bending chorus, a constant in Philadelphia clubs, already has kids stomping to the beat of “Pig Scum Virus Whore!” as it questions modern pornography's vision of sexuality. American Zombie juxtaposes real life horror with film trope with anthem choruses, speaking to a goth culture in the midsts of a mainstream gone mad.
Yluko's production demonstrates the craft of dance music- searing synth lines go beyond stage settings for formulaic dance, weaving dynamics and melody with percussive texture. Samples and glitch noise function as structurally in high energy dance tracks. American Zombie fits perfectly into the fog and strobe filled word of the boot scuffed dance floors but has a place in a serious music listener's collection.

extremely well! that's great about your music man! and congrats on setting a wedding date! when is it? i've actually recently started a band with a friend of mine. we've been busting out some brutal harsh EBM type shit with like, some pretty parts and like some dubstep/drum and bass influences, if that makes any sense! hahaha hopefully by this time next month i'll have some stuff to show you! i'm pretty stoked about it. hmm suggestions for music? well, lately i've been really into Control Alt Deus and AktiveHate, both from Portugal. also listening to a lot of CeDigest and Hexen Prozess. you might know those bands though. i've been digging that new Grendel track, "Chemicals + Circuitry" and also recently gotten really really into Dubstep! haha Borgore is definitely worth checking out! aaaaand if you're into dark drum n bass: Counterstrike is radical! hahahaha hope that helps you find something to listen to! i know the feeling of being bored with all your music though. i am constantly getting new stuff to listen to!
We are happy to see a good year go towards a good end. Again we will be playing our Christmas Show in the Moscow Megasphere - and that really makes us happy. The Moscow crowd is one of the best in the world and we would love to have you all with is. It's gonna be one hell of a rock party!

I just re-read the message i sent you yesterday, mustve been more drunk than I thought, what a stupid message, haha!,- but anyways, when i woke up at noon, LO and Behold, there was "american Zombie" in the mail :-) its REaLLY good!!
