Ningyoushi started out in 1996... selling toys and anime online as a hobby. In 2000, we started to carry a new line of toys that changed our lives and the way we view toys... Michael Lau figure and Designer Toys. The demand wasn't high, but we didn't mind... we loved it! It was a great way for us to start our collection and stay connected with the emerging Asian toy market. Towards the end of 2001, we realized we weren't alone. There were a ton of folks out there that was crazy about this toy genre like us. And it wasn't just folks in Asia . They came from all over the world. Now, a small community on the web has started and hopefully will grow as toy lovers like us can talk and share information about the toys from the far east...

Our mission is to provide our customers with a variety of specialized imported products that are hard to find in your normal toy store or hobby store. - Ningyoushi ( nin-yo-she ) means dollmaker in Japanese.
