I listen to music constantly.
I play a bass that is acoustic, but not upright.
My picture is not always completely accurate in everyway usually sometimes.
Picky eater, has long hair, and is ferocious/badass at PING PONG.
Can defeat a wide assortment of pingpong-opponents even if
they're asian or over 70.
Has started to take pictures again.

Does not grow beards but is often found walking or driving up the coast.
I go to A LOT of shows including in shitty Los Angeles
and somehow refrain from getting depressed doing so and such
probably about 18% of my time here.
I also shoot video of bands/people performing songs on stage areas, sometimes:

Who I'd like to meet: A girl who plays Banjo.
A lady friend, or a ladyfriend.
A girl to listen to my records with, watch Criterion dvds.
A drummer.
and oh, yeah, I met THIS GUY on the other coast, so another notch on my coffin:
This is not one to miss. Tomorrow night at the Soda Bar and it's free... To all you punkers who like The Pogues, Gogol Bordello, Gypsy, Klezmer and any other crossover traditional punk hybrid... The Zydepunks are the response to what Flogging Molly should have been to The Pogues. Really really. ************************************************************************************ Anyways, the last time they were out here was in 2006 and there were about 8 people that showed up for the show. Thankfully they are headed out this way again which gives us San Diegans the opportunity to show them that we know how to drink and dance like any crazy fukrs anywhere and most importantly that we can show them as good a time as they can show us! Feel free to check out their website for more info and music here www..zydepunks.com The show is at Thee Soda Bar tomorrow night, Monday the 18th of May IT IS A FREE SHOW and 10% of the bar is gonna go to The Zydepunks and our favorite local klezmer punkers from Tijuana... La Ballena De Jonas who will be opening the show, so bring out yr dance partners, yr fk buddies and drink drink drink! And as always, with love in yr hearts. tatg- Di Nigunim ***********************
hey, i don't even think genre labels are accurate any way. you brought it up, i brought up my personal thoughts. i'm not talking about experimental music, or any one else's music, just talking about the three tags i think most accurately define me. that idea of experimental is the far extreme definition held by some, i was just looking for another alternative. ha, 'alternative. ' yeah, music's just accumulated thoughts finally being synthesized. you can have a mindset when you're writing that helps, like laziness helps for not feeling anxious about a new song. last night i was working on a song with a line straight from the night's events. i don't normally do that. there are so many ways to approach a song that music will never get boring for listeners or musicians.
funny you mention that, i was actually going to change Experimental to some thing like Soul or Spiritual, but Experimental is still the most accurate following Folk n Bluez. Would you consider yourself a blues musician if you had to choose one title to best describe yourself? I might. Experimental connotes kind of perpetual dissatisfaction with the end result, which I don't want to promote. Folk, actually, is most cogently me. no formal training here.
I'm gonna be a guest on 2plyradio's Under The Radar program this wednesday evening. From 9-10 (West Coast time) we'll be focusing on local SD area bands and some discussion, including a handful of songs off the upcoming Chaz album making their first appearances! 10-11 will be just cool music that SHOULD be on the radio. There's a chat room too, so feel to ask questions or share your opinions! XOXOXO -Aaron
spending a hundred bucks on dinner is easy, you pay and you walk out going, who cares, i might get hit by a car later or get run over by a golf course lawn mowing truck or gat attacked by those mexicans upset that they are laboring for the lazy white man, yeah, that's how i do it! and i dont wear wigs, that helps too :)
sasha, you should keep doing that, i coldly and calculatedly spent a hundred dollars on dinner yesterday, we both did that economic misdeed, weird indeed
