We are going to open a myspace Video Game review site. This site will be augmenting the actual website. Sort of a promotional way of getting you guys to our website. NINPLAYBOX.NET. Also a fun way to keep in touch and do sweepstakes and games. below is the rating system we have decided on.We are in the process of aquiring resources people and time. Look for updates daily, and very soon some inovations in the reviewing of video games. Check back daily!!!!
Update..I now have found a good webdesigner to help make the site much more professional... no exact timeline here but in the next few months look to haveing the site up and running and ready for traffic.... again any one intrested in reviewing games let me know!!!!

Been having issues with finances but its getting straightened out. The pro webdesigner won't begin work till possibly July so I am learning and taking some classes on how to do things...and may have help sooner than that. We are going to start reviewing as of now and saving up the reviews in a data base....I am also working on getting parphenalia up and going..I.E. t shirts and stickers and such....at first I will send them out for free....but grab them while you can cause then we will start chargeing...buy them too help us pay for this if you can....I have also decided to include a forum....thats a whole other adventure and will require even more programing...so the wait will be long but the worth will be high. Keep playing and spread the word...the reviews we start now we will add to the myspace page so you guys can approve or disapprove and help us make this as user friendly as possible... thanks for the support...3/25/08

What the Numbers Mean:
Here's how the overall rating ranges break down.
10.0: Perfect This exceedingly rare (or possibly unattainable )score refers to a game that is as perfect as a game can aspire to be at its time of release. Of course, the constantly changing technology and inventive methods of gameplay will probably make this game less than 10 someday, but at its time of release, a game earning this score could not have been better in any way and was thought so by all on the review staff.

9.0-9.5: Excellent We hardily recommend any game in this range, especially to fans of that particular type of game. Though, games that score in the 9 range are also probably well suited to new players as a “Gateway Game” to new player. Games that earn 9s are usually uncommon, and will probably earn Ninplaybox’s Game of the month/ year awards for their outstanding quality.

8.0-8.5: Great This range refers to great games that are excellent in almost every way and whose few glitches probably aren’t overly important. We highly recommend games in this range, since they tend to be good enough to provide an enjoyable experience to fans of the particular genre and to some new players alike.

7.0-7.5: Good A game in this range is a good overall play, and likely worth playing by fans of the particular genre or by those possibly interested in its genre. While its strengths are more than its weaknesses, a game that falls in this range tends to have noticeable shortcomings and may be avoided by lovers of the genre.

6.0-6.5: Fair Games that earn 6-range ratings have some good qualities but significant poor qualities as well. These games may be worth playing, but you should approach them with caution, and possibly rent or buy them cheap. Most games with avid cult followings will fall into this range as they weren’t amazing but had a special appeal to a group of gamers.

5.0-5.5: Mediocre A 5-range score refers to a game that's about average" in the negative sense that most our reviewers thought poorly of its play. These games seem to have enough major shortcomings to far outweigh their strengths. There's probably a much better, like game out there that won’t make you pull your hair out over camera angles or some other fault.

4.0-4.5: Poor Games that just don't play well maybe the production team didn't spend enough time in .. aspects, or the idea just didn’t pan out in gameplay to be fun, tend to fall here. They simply lack the Fun and seamless gameplay that make other games fun.

3.0-3.5: Bad You probably shouldn't spend any money or time on a game in this range. Any of its positive qualities are probably only there in that they show the games utter lack of fun play time and highlight the games abysmal shortcomings and negative qualties.

2.0-2.5: Terrible Don’t waste anything on this game, for a game in this range is almost entirely without of any remotely fun or fully functional features. We are upset we had to play it to review it and sincerely hope you don’t play it and just listen to us. Whatever you may find fun will be utterly killed by the things that are awful.

1.0-1.5: Abysmal WoW!! MoM. The rare game that falls in this lowest-of-the-low range has no positive sides no matter what way you look at it whatsoever. Don't play this game. We are currently working on a way to get back the time we wasted in our lives reviewing this folly.

What the NinPlayBox Achievements Medals Mean:
NinPlayBox Achievements Badges (or NAB’s) are achievements medals that are given to game reviews as a way to call attention to the special achievements a game may have (good and bad). NAB medals let our reviewers call attention to a game's achievements, such as its graphics, musical composition, or difficulty on the good side. But the NAB medals aren't limited to facts about a game's sound and appearance. NAB medals such as "BloodBath," can be given and are meant to make note of games that are total gorefests (in case you're buying for a child or you really like that in a game), and "A+ for Children," which is, as you can tell in the name, is meant to show a game that is targeted at or can be enjoyed by kids covered by the E rating in game rating. NAB medals may help non-gamers (buying games for children or friends) and gamers (not wanting to read a full text review) decide on a game especially if they are familiar with our ratings and tend to agree with us.
