Nish is one of Australia’s rising stars of the comedy scene. Born to Sri Lankan parents Nish was raised in Australia and found his niche in Stand up comedy.
In 2007 he became a regular guest on the top rating television show "Thank God You’re Here". He spent the rest of the year touring around Australia with the award winning ethnic comedy group Il Dago with George Kapiniaris, Simon Palomares, and Joe Avati. In 2008 Nish featured as a stand-up act on Channel 9’s “Footy Show”.
Nish is a comic for all occasions except KKK meetings. He is the perfect corporate entertainer and takes pride in doing material that is clean and versatile.
He is a master of impersonations - his Michael Jackson can’t be Beat (it), and his Bob Geldof will leave you starving for more.
Nish, coming soon to a convenience store near you.

My first performance was a cross between Eddie Murphy and Carl Barron but without the funny.
I love the preacher style of Chris Rock; the storytelling of Richard Pryor; the calm soothing nature of Tahir; the relaxed confidence of Greg Sullivan; the energy and charm of George Kapiniaris, the effortlessness of Danny Bhoy; the emotional engagement of Daniel Kitson.
There are others and i will continue to add to this list as I gravitate towards a cash for comment system.

I respect everyday people that do everyday jobs well. You can't get a cup of coffee without a cup of attitude these days.
Hi, a bit about me: I have lived in Australia almost all my life. I get my brown pigmentation and chilli addiction from my parents - they are from Sri Lanka.
My proper name is Nishan Selvadurai. I performed my very first comedy gig under my proper name but the attempt to pronounce my name was probably funnier than my act so I brought that to an end and became known simply as Nish.
So....what did I do before comedy?
I went from Cancer to Comedy.....I used to work in cancer education and prevention. I have a bachelor degree in Health Science: Public Health.
Kimle tanışmak isterim: A bank manager who says yes. I dont need any money right now, but if I did it would be nice to know that he would say yes.

Welcome to 2009 (abit belated). What lays in store? Flying Cars, monkey butlers, jet packs, advance sexy robotic maids? Well sadly none of that (sexy robo maids are still in their sexy infancy), what we do have is a new episode of the rogues gallery! Jacky and Richy return for your listening pleasure to talk about the usual crap; including worst jobs in the world, life according to a Dungeons and Dragons fanatic and the Inaugural Brisbane Comedy festival.
Anyway promises to be fun. So visit us and spread the mirth!
