With her powerful stage presence and guts out attitude, it is no wonder that this young musician is continuously met with overwhelming feedback and support. In the short eight years Niska has been performing her own material, she has gained the experience of a seasoned professional. In the last year alone Niska has earned a reputation in the Victoria music scene as a rising star, been on numerous tours, sold out headlining shows, and performed at huge events including “The Ollin Kan Music Festival” in Mexico City, “The Dawson City Music Festival”, “Victoria’s 10th Annual SKA Fest” and “The 2008 National Aboriginal Indigenous Games”. Stepping outside of her original roots, she has worked with numerous artists such as Terra Grimard, Sandy Scofield, Noah Becker, Pocket Kings and her latest band Rocky Mountain Rebel Music. Blending hip-hop, R&B, folk, reggae, rock and traditional music explain her tremendous range and original sound. Jamming and sharing the stage with legends like The Persuasions and Buffy St.Marie have only proved this young lady can hold her own. Without having released an album she has been noticed and featured on APTN’s “The New Canoe”, “MY TV”, “The Mix” and performed on CBC Radio and CFUV. Taking a brief hiatus from the city, Niska is currently living in Moberly Lake, writing songs and exploring her roots. After a successful cross Canada tour she has many eager fans anticipating the arrival of her first solo release. At 23, she inspires people of all ages with her talent and passion. She is truly an investment and inspiration to young people everywhere who wish to follow their dreams.

I Miss BC!! it's at the opposite of where I am.. lol I was in Banff a couple of years ago..was working picking up cherries.. it was a great experience for me at the time.. it's so beautiful and inspiring there.. btw, are you a hockey fan??? we have created a group on facebook since we're BIG FANS and at every game, Sef and I are challenging each other on the winning team...
