The boys rehearsed at their school in the evenings, It's name is Hammarkullsskolan (Hammerhillsschool), It's located in the suburb Hammarkullen in Gothenburg, Sweden.
The name was soon changed to SIB 69 (short for: Spik i bajjan 69)
and the line up became:
In late 1983 they changed the name again into NISSES NÖTTER.
At this point they had started to rehearse in the basement of a daycare center, Usually on saturday mornings...Pre-party anyone? (there was always some punks hanging around during the rehearsals)
"NN" did many gigs and a recorded their first tape (the one and only!):
Knäckta Nötter 84,
It was released by Egg Tapes & Records.
At this point the band had made themselves a reputation
in sweden as the "Youngest punk band ever",
They were cult already at the age of thirteen!!!
Now they were one of the 80s many important Hardcore punk bands
in Sweden.
"NN" gigged with bands like:
All important/legendary bands that played in the 80s.
in the end of 1984/beginning of 1985 a new tape was recorded, It's called: "Live at replokalen"(Live at the rehearsal room)
and it is still unreleased.

Only a few weeks after the recording Tommie left "NN" for some reason...
....The band needed a new bassplayer so (a good friend/Schoolmate) Paul joined in.
Paul was also and a member of: HK PUNKS
There was maybe made a recording too? "still searching for that tape"
In the end of 1985 "NN" changed their sound into more -77 punkrock.
There was also talk about changing the name of the band.
It all ended up in the boys going separate ways in december 1985.
"NN" regrouped again in 1993 to play live!
with all members present (two bassplayers!Tommie and Paul)
Along with the release of the compilation Cd GBG HARDCORE 81 - 85 It was a great night! almoust everyband on the record was playing! even Absurd
(with Måns, who now is a priest!)
"NN" influenced a lot of people back in the 80s/90s, And "it's like time has been standing still"
because even today people crave their music worldwide
(that is one of the reasons why this site came up).
Punks from the USA, Brasil and Japan have contacted the band in search for more songs.
And there is actually some recordings that will be released on a record really soon...

TRIVIAL INFO:
-Years later you could find Hansi
and Hasse
playing together again
in a somewhat "hardcore" sounding band: PSYCORE.
-Nico, Tommie and Paul played together in THE NUTS , some kind of a continuation to "NN"...
-Hasse and Hansi are in a band called LONELY SOUL
these days.

-Tommie won a "Dirt-competition"one summer by eating some dog food!!!
(Now that's Punk!) after that he got his nickname "VOV VOV"...
-NN used the "oldschoolway" to get their hair to stand up
(1 white soap + A few drops of water!)
-"Darling" was a big bag that followed the boys everywhere...
Noone knew the content except "NN".
-HK PUNKS was a gang in the suburb "Hammarkullen" (HammerHill) in Gothenburg, Sweden.
There was about 10 members in the gang.
The members listened to eachothers punk records, Drank beer, Spiked their hair
and one summer even played cricket on Hansis backyard!
On the weekends they all took the tram downtown to meet other punks. They all always ended up walking to haga (A part of gothenburg)
There was a few old houses that were squatted and and the legendary "punkforum",
this was a meeting point for all punkrockers.
-Some members of NN had a band called PÅÅL at one time.
And there was also a band called HASSES BAND...
P.P.P (Piska Pappas Pung) was also one band...
-Hansi & Hasse lives in Stockholm...
Nico, Paul & Tommie lives in Gothenburg...today....
Still they manage to write new songs! Long live the technology!!!!
So new songs are on the way!!!
And who knows maybe a new record also?!!
