..Perriello Productions.. is a Music Production / Artist Development company born out of the desire to see Artists create the best recordings they can make. Rob Loyot has been Producing/Engineering under the "PP" label for almost 20 years and has over 25 years of hands-on music industry experience. Please see "Rob's Bio" on the this site for the full story of his career. PP leverages Rob's music industry expertise to deliver compelling recordings that are on par with major label releases. We have access to an "A" list of Boston's finest session players to help out with your recording. PP recordings have charted in the Top 10 on the national Americana Music Association charts (as reported by R+R) in 2008. His passion for analog sound served as a foundation for his design. NITA studio is a hybrid - it combines the editing facility of today's digital systems and the warmth of a wide array of analog gear. It was acoustically co-designed with Paul Stewart (PAD, Genelec). .... Not content to enjoy his studio for his own purposes, Rob set out to produce and engineer for up and coming New England based artists. He soon found himself working on ..Minky Starshine and the New Cardinals.. album "Hooray for L.A." with ..Ken Stringfellow.. (Posies, R.E.M., Big Star). "Hooray for L.A." was nominated for "Album of the Year" in the Providence Phoenix. His next project would be born from a chance meeting with ..Girls, Guns and Glory.. frontman Ward Hayden. "Fireworks and Alcohol", the debut CD by GG&G, was produced by Rob and engineered with the help of ..Sean McLaughlin.. (Elliott Smith). .... Almost every project coming out of Noise in the Attic is placed in the able hands of ..Jeff Lipton.. (Dropkick Murphys, Dead Milkmen, Jeff Tweedy/Wilco) for mastering.We are huge fans of Jeff's work..... With the follow-up to Girls, Guns and Glory's debut - their sophomore release -.."Pretty Little Wrecking Ball,".. Rob established himself as a premier producer. GG&G has gone on to win a Boston Phoenix Music Poll Award and be named as "Best Band in Boston" by the Phoenix. Songs like "Big Man" aired on ESPN and Radio Shack advertisements across the country, all on the strength of the recordings and mixes done at Noise in the Attic. GG&G won the 2007 Boston Music Award for "Outstanding Americana Act". .. Perriello Productions took over the management duties for GG&G as their management company in January of 2008... .... Since then - GG&G has had a major hit with their 3rd release - .."Inverted Valentine".. - which reached 8 on the national AMA chart, 2 on the Roots Music Report (RMR), 21 on the FAR chart, 11 on the Noise chart and 12 on XM Satellite Radios X-Country chart. GG&G won the ..2008 WBCN Rumble.. - becoming the first Roots/Rock/Americana act in the history of the Rumble to accomplish this feat.GG&G capped off the year by winning .. 2 Boston Music Awards including the top prize - "Act of the Year 2008" and "Inverted Valentine" was nominated for "Album of the Year" at the BMA's. .. In July of 2009 we released GG&G from their Management agreement with PP with our best wishes for their continued success. This has freed Rob up to pursue Producing and Engineering. ....
