Influences
We are definitely not influenced by The Bay City Rollers, David Cassidy, The Osmonds, or Milli Vanilli. But we are influenced by those striving for positive change:

Sounds Like
A hip 30-to-60 year old's awesome vinyl collection. That means no Floyd Cramer, Wayne Newton, or Zamfir & His Magic Pan Flute. Definitely not influenced by them either. No Siree.
*The demos above were recorded with our rehearsal setup, with just two SM58 vocal mic's picking up vocals from PA speakers, and the rest straight from drums & amps! Better recordings to follow!*
We're Nite Owl. We can rock the club/bar/party/etc. with 4 hours worth of upbeat classic rock & blues covers from the 50's to the 80's (newer stuff is coming) including Hendrix, Stones, Allman Brothers, Van Halen, CS&N (and sometimes Y, haha), Joe Walsh, Buddy Guy, Cream, CCR, Stevie Ray Vaughan, etc. We also have some originals in the same vein, and highly danceable & rocked-out improvised jams that don't just noodle aimlessly in C for 20 minutes. We're seeking gigs all over eastern North Carolina from the Triangle (maybe the Triad) to the Coast & Roanoke Rapids to Lumberton for now, maybe farther in the future. We're terrific now, and we're gonna be the best party/cover band in NC before long.
Wanted to go so badly, but had to do the Mom thing and play flute at church this morning. I'm thinking an evening with Nite Owl probably wouldn't have been condusive to that! Hope you had a great set and a wonderful time!
