About me:
The 2009 NJ Medieval Festival was another success! The weather cooperated and all had fun.
We are happy to announce the new location and name for this year's Festival:
The NJ Family Renaissance Festival
and
Archery Competition
Saturday, June 12, 2009 and Sunday, June 13, 2009
12 noon - 6 pm
(Weekend before Father's Day)
The faire is being held at the Vienna United Methodist Church Concert Field, 266 Route 46 West, Vienna, NJ 07880. (Off I-80).
The Festival is a fund raiser for the church, celebrating it's 200th Anniversary! See Historical Demonstrations, enter a Renaissance Archery Competition or just shoot for fun, enjoy Music and Magic shows, Games, Contests, Arts and Crafts Merchants, Food and more!
HISTORY
The NJ Family Medieval & Fantasy Festivals, started in 2001, are host to the ongoing story of The Paladin Knight, a Medieval Fantasy Hero. It is about courage, loyalty, determination, good versus evil and...well...having fun and enjoying life to the fullest! The Festival is appropriate for all ages. This is a festival who has developed a reputation known for its variety in entertainment and education in the past: jousting, sword fighting troupes, LARP Groups, Roman Demonstrations, fantasy characters, SCA & ARMA.
