One of life's greatest pleasures is the opportunity to meet new people and cultivate lasting friendships. That's especially true in a growing church like ours, so we never take lightly the people God brings across our path.

I unfortunately will not be able to make it due to my birthday on 8/11/09 and unable to make a trip out of town at this juncture. God's House is about going back to the beginning, returning to the heart of God and the value of the church. God gave us spiritual leaders to bless us (Ephesians 4:11-14). Unfortunately, many churches today are ruled by heavy-handed leaders who have forgotten why they were "called." As a result, many have drawn back from God and the church – feeling lost and confused about what they once believed. I remember your family very well. I was a member of Elder William Rogers church here in Burlington, North Carolina. I would like to say that it was good to see your faces. It has been a long time. My family would like to say hello to you all.
So I'm sooooo upset that I wasnt able to make it down for service tonight...I dont think I know how to NOT bring in the New Year at NJICM...I need how-to instructions...nevertheless, I will be in church tonight.
