Sounds Like Njoi Release 2 EP’s on Promo For Xmas 2007!! The first CD is called “Ready 2 Party” which is a “Height of the Night” Floor filler. With an infectious Rap sample and soaring soulful vocals and Raw bassline, which has already Rocked Njoi’s residency at Detached in Brixton, and is perfect for the Festivities….if you liked Njoi’s last offerings then this is most definitely for you! And For all those who Loved Njoi’s take on “Cant Get Enough” for track 2 on this first CD they’ve replace the Soul Searchers vocal with their own original song “Naked Soul” keeping all of the energy of the aforementioned, giving you a fresh alternative on this Modern Day Classic. The second EP is a much tougher offering. Starting with “Razor Ride” a relentless Techno tune that features a reversed Piano line and riff that just doesn’t let up. The second track is called “Milkshaker” Already whisking up a frenzy!! Play it to find out why? (Very Cheeky Indeed!!) And the final track is “Plastic Minds” an original Lipstick Electro Banger from the Boys, Which rocks the crowd everytime!! ’s in the Area!! ARE YOU READY!! For additional info www.myspace.com/njoimusic For bookings cath@ultradj.co.uk Most famous for their amazing live performances Njoi are now equally in demand for their DJ sets going across the board from House to tough Electro and Breaks. And for many bookings they do both....uniquely fusing the two together Njoi have never seen themselves just as DJs and believe crowds always respond better to live music Mark Franklin and Andrew Loveday will be mixing up the latest in Electro and Dirty house gems with Mark thowing in some Live guitar and bass over breakbeats, Nigel Champion will have a full keyboard set up mixing in new prototypes from the laptop as well as triggering hedonistic samples throughout the set, performing keyboards live and generally jamming along with a cutting edge mix. There will be live vocals from guest vocalists seamlessly integrating the P.A element into a two hour set, accompanied by two very hot NJOI dancers..giving a new dimension to the concept of DJing Njoi..s first performance with the new enhanced set up was at Mass Brixton London in December 2006. Praise from the promoter Tim.... ..You guys ROCKED the joint and I can safely say that you are the best guest DJs/live act/pa we have ever had at Detached.. Njoi are a fully versatile DJ/live act and you can book just a DJ set or right up to the full on stage show So prepare yourself .. N-Joi are back bigger and bolder than ever! www.myspace.com/njoimusic Contact brian@ultradj.co.uk with all booking requests for either a PA or DJ set Brian Merchant Ultra DJ Management Ltd T) +44 (0) 207 740 2119 F) +44 (0) 207 394 1139 E-mail) brian@ultradj.co.uk Website) www.ultradj.co.uk..... http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=vids.individual&videoid=2011752309N Joi Anthem RAVE 1991 LIVE baby!!!!

BRAND NEW NJOI 2007 DJ MIX ! LISTEN AT www.rockworld.tv/NJOI.mp3

The Njoi classic 'Anthem' has been revisited and remixed by The Hoxton Whores. Retaining all the elements that gave the track it's cult status amongst clubbers the new version adds a new dimension for 2006. Available to download from www.wippit.com, www.tunetribe.com, www.napster.com, www.itunes.com, www.7digital.com, www.tescodownloads.com, www.woolworths.com, www.OD2.com and your local record store.

N-Joi , AKA Mark Franklin and Nigel Champion formed in 1989. At that time, dance music was unheard of in the National charts, and the underground warehouse parties were still illegal, which is where you would find N-Joi. There weren't many artists in the UK producing dance music, and the market was very limited. Only artists such as Moby, Blackbox, Happy Mondays etc, were getting their material into the charts and that was because they were vocal driven. At this stage, not a single instrumental dance track had entered the charts until N-Joi.

Their first release on De-construction Records (BMG) was Adrenalin which was a hard hitting, full on techno sound. N-Joi had only ever played live to no less than 20,000 people at most of the legal and illegal parties. This was the beginning of their journey into bringing underground dance music to the forefront of the public consciousness. Adrenalin entered the national charts at No.19 which they also performed (without lyrics) on Top of the Pops.

They were soon in big demand and hooked up with singer/performer Saffron from 'Republica'. They then released Anthem performed by Saffron, which stormed the national charts at No.8 selling in excess of half a million copies.

They were probably the most successful dance act at this time, which also enabled other acts to become established by setting the 'formula' for keyboard artists to perform live. Anthem was also doing extremely well in the USA and entered the Billboard charts at No.1.

N-Joi then released 'Live in Manchester' which was now very different to the more commercial hit 'Anthem', but still entered the charts at No.12. By now N-Joi were busy touring the USA, UK, Europe and Australia and it wasnt too long before international artists such as Madonna and Annie Lennox were requesting remixes. N-Joi's manager at the time had taken on an unknown rave act called 'The Prodigy', who loved what N-Joi did so much that they decided to form a band themselves. Eventually over the years The Prodigy became more successful than N-Joi, but still wanted to perform with them, so N-Joi supported them on tour. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . N-JOI "ANTHEM 2006"

Mark and Nigel have both been writing separately for the last 10 yrs, but have now reformed and are making a spectacular comeback with a set of brand new mixes of their original hit record 'Anthem', which is now to be released on The New Black, licensed from Alternative Route Recordings (Desyn Masiellos label) in August 2006.

Andrew Loveday is the new member of N-Joi and has been involved in the Music Industry since 1992 as a Promoter and DJ working at notorious clubs such as Legends and Club UK.

He has now become a major figure in the British film Industry. This is where he asked Nigel from N-Joi to write music for his films. Whilst filming in Romania he met the biggest selling female artist over there `Loredana`, who gave her permission for Andrew and Nigel to remix her current hit which has now been signed to Phonetik records.

After discussions, Nigel and Mark agreed that Andrew would be ideal as the extra cog in the wheel necessary to form N-Joi 2.

The leading mix of "Anthem" is by the 'Hoxton Whores' who have done an awesome job of giving this already classic record a new life.

N-Joi themselves have also created two great mixes with their Beach Mix and their Drum & Bass Mix. They are now recording new singles/album for the future.

They have just completed a tour of Ibiza and played live on the Dave Pearce show for Radio 1. N-joi are available for live gigs and DJ gigs . For further gig dates see above. .

Have you ever fancied being the lead singer in a successful band?

Njoi are about to release the club classic Anthem' on September 11th. The band are currently looking for a female vocalist to record tracks for the forthcoming album and tour.
