"I’m standing on the edge of some crazy cliff. What I have to do, I have to catch everybody if they start to go over the cliff—I mean if they’re running and they don’t look where they’re going I have to come out from somewhere and catch them. That’s all I’d do all day. I’d just be the catcher in the rye and all." --Holden Caulfield, The Catcher in the Rye
"Although the Lord gives you the bread of adversity and the water of affliction, your teachers will be hidden no more; with your own eyes you will see them. Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, "This is the way; walk in it." --Isaiah 30:20-21

Who I'd like to meet:
Your Values Profile
Loyalty:
You don't really value loyalty.
In your opinion, friendship should be earned.
If you don't agree with someone, it doesn't matter how close you are.
You'll let them (and everyone else know) exactly what you think.
Honesty:
You value honesty a fair amount.
You're honest when you can be, but you aren't a stickler for it.
If a little white lie will make a situation more comfortable, you'll go for it.
In the end, you mostly care about "situational integrity."
Generosity:
You value generosity highly.
So much so that you often put your own needs last.
There's nothing wrong with having a caring heart...
But you may want to rethink your "open wallet" policy.
Humility:

And you don't need to seek praise to make yourself feel better.

stop inflating my ego lulz. i get confused all the time as it were. sigh... sweaty right now though... just put my tire back on. apparently i just annulled it's engagement to a nail for six months. it's been draining it of 1 psi a week since then. sigh, now that i'm comfortable, i'm going to have to tear down the 2nd half of my patio... see you at 7, hope i have time to shower!
i am aware that i'm too wonderful for my own good. that's why i try sharing my wonderfullness with those around me ;). it wound up just being me and mykel there. as i said, he'd rather seem gay than a third wheel. but peoples tomorrow should be good. i'll say i'm seeing wallE lulz, although i heard from mi madre that it stunk.
i wouldn't mind watching hancock again. if you think you can sneak a ticket for the same time same movie, but on a different day. or i may just have to take you up on that mayhem and destruction offer...
i lost the game sigh... hancock, tomorrow, 7? i buy 2 tickets, and if you are in a Jewy mood, you can pay me back $5. it's gonna be more of a group shindig, so i'll probably show up earlier to save a row of seats.
i actually wrote the beginnings of a short story the other day. i think you inspired me, haha. it's really influenced by marquez (i just finished one of his books and i loved it). if you haven't read any of his stuff, i think you'd like it. :)
that's a much better idea! we can do that tomorrow! we're white, so we're better disguised in the daytime than at night. and arson means that you have a huge beacon to the scene of the crime at night.
did i have something in mind? hmmm... i think that would require a mind... but i don't mind... i think today i have to drive up to Houston to sell my uncle's 6' long snake and lizard back to the pet store he bought it from. apparently electricity needs to be shut off 3 months after its used and 3 months before its used again, instead of either immediately or never. Get Smart just came out? or can you think of something bettorz?
OH AND RANDOM BUT I DREAMPT THAT I SAW YOU LAST NIGHT ...... I HAVEN'T SEEN YOU SINCE YOU MOVED ... LOSER..... I WENT TO DALLAS ON MY SENIOR TRIP AND LIKE ALL THE WAY THERE ( ALL 8 HOURS ) I WAS THINKIN I WONDER WHERE ALYSSA MOVED .... I WOULD'VE VISITED YOU IN A HEARTBEAT
hmmm... yup, that's a robot ninja undercover as a pirate if i've ever seen one... which I have... then it promptly killed me with a quick roundhouse kick to the face... wait, was that Chuck Norris...? drain bamage et cetera.
yeah! i'm signed up for calculus 3, and all my other classes for next year! sand storms are not so different from hurricanes though... but either way, the weather's gonna take some adjusting to... now that i'm back in town, i'm up for hanging out or what not; can't think of anything to do at the moment though.
sounds like a plan. methinks in an hour i'll drive over there and buy 2 tickets, then hang out with Ben til it starts and if you can't go, then he can take your ticket. hooray for ways of saving gas.
