The band formed in 1997 with guitarist Serhat. After their first line-up gets a shape, the band had its first live performance in Feb. 24 2001 at Kemanci Rock Bar and continued performing in
various festivals and concerts. In January 2002 Northen Lights released self titled debut demo CD and later that
performed in VI. Rock Station International Rock Festival. In April 2003, Baris as vocalist and Onur as bass guitarist
joined to band and at the end of December 2003 the band released Fire Of Hate demo EP as first part of their concept
story. Currently the band is working on their album as second and the last part of their concept story.
Northern Lights musical style can be defined as Progressive Metal influent by ethnic (turkish) and epic story
-telling elements.
As Northern Lights performed in festivals like Rock The Nations II, ProgIstanbul and Rock Istanbul III the
last big show of the band was on 26.nov.2005 in Tirgu Mures / RO, at the first edition of "MONSTERS OF TRANSYLVANIA
ROCKFEST 2005", beside bands as: ANVIL (Canada), PHANTOM-X (U.S.A.), IRON MASK (Belgium), TUZMADÁR (Hungary), and the

“Once and for all" will be the title of Still Nasty’s upcoming LP.
Recorded and mixed in "Primera Base" (Madrid), it will be produced by Jose López (Glow, The Soulbreaker Company, to name a few) and later mastered in Hollywood's own Precision Mastering Studios (Alice in Chains, Danzig, NIN, Stone Temple Pilots, etc.), in Los Angeles (USA). A whole lotta hard rock, atmospheres, and a touch of stoner make up these Spaniard's debut, which will also contain some interesting collaborations. The band is taking into account different options to publish the upcoming LP.
