I have always loved writing songs and sharing them with whoever'll listen. Until recently, it was always done "on the side" or "as a hobby" as I was focused on more worldly pursuits - namely, jumping through progressively smaller, spiked and flaming "straight job" hoops and raising three lil 'uns.
Then one fateful summer, I attended an amazingly blissful songwriting workshop at Hollyhock on Cortes Island, BC and I was told to get my tushy to Nashville.
Just got back from my first trip to that amazing town where I connected with some great songwriters, saw some unbelievable shows and fell in love with Music City, USA.
My song "Best of Friends" was selected at the NSAI conference I attended as one of the Top 10 at the conference. (it also got an honourable mention at the Great American Song Contest 2007) .
Hoping to connect with like-minded people following their bliss who may care to listen to me following mine.

Best of Friends is a great song. And the one you did at the workshop (both versions, particularly the re-write) is also right up there. Nice to meet you. Most weekdays I'm around for co-writes and general mayhem.
