DUDE! I got a summons for jury duty in December!! This BLOWS. They did this the same time last year, but I forgot about it, and then postponed it until June and I thought I got excused. Do they consider the year from the first summons, or the time you show up? At least I got asked to go to Hollywood instead of downtown L.A. And if I have to go, maybe I'll get a juicy trial.

I saw a tshirt in a shop last night as I was shopping in Anchorage. On it was the State of Alaska and the words "Our Mama is better than your Obama". I am so going back to that store when I come back to town and get that for you. Along with a bumper sticker that says 'Alaska Girls Kick Ass' I thought you might like it.
Did you hear the news???!!!! Sarah Palin, our wonderful governor up here in Alaska has been chosen as McCain's running mate!!! I am so freakin excited!!!
