About me: Yá'át'ééh!!
Nídeiltihí Native Elite Runners, Inc. (NNER) is a volunteer nonprofit organization (501c3). That means, we don’t get paid! We volunteer our time to support a great cause…which is to support Native American runners to be successful in competition and in life.
Why you ask? Well...simply because while Native American runners have tremendous running talent, they don't have the same opportunities as runners from other parts of the country. The purpose of NNER is to provide those same opportunities to Native American runners and put them on a level playing field with their competitors so they have a fair shot at elite level and Olympic competition. The ultimate goal is put a Native American runner on the Olympic podium someday. We are providing support through our programs, grass roots efforts and our partnership with NAU High Altitude Training Center, a U.S. Olympic Training Site. Integrating Native Americanm language, traditions and cultural values is central to our mission.
Please visit us at www.navajoeliterunners.org to learn more!
Who I'd like to meet: > Native American High School Runners and Coaches
> College coaches interested in recruiting Native American athletes
> Anyone interested in supporting our organization as a donor, sponsor or partner. For more information or to make a donation online, please visit the NNER Home Page link in the box below.

Hello To All of the high school runners out there in AZ, NM and UT! Here is a quote from the great Billie Mills to get you motivated as the CC season starts!
"The ultimate is not to win, but to reach within the depths of your capabilities and to compete against yourself to the greatest extent possible. When you do that, you have dignity. You have the pride. You can walk about with character and pride no matter in what place you happen to finish."
Hello to all the Navajo runners out there! Maintain strength, health, prayer, and balance through running. Strive to achieve your dreams because you can do it! Be proud of your culture and language and learn all that you can. Educate yourself with higher learning because learning never ends. May the Creator bless all my little brothers and sisters.
